Affiliate Disclosure

In plain English: some links on this site earn us a small commission if you buy something. It doesn't cost you anything extra.

What Are Affiliate Links?

Some links on UK Coffee Reviews are "affiliate links." This means that when you click on a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same whether or not you use our link.

Which Programmes Do We Use?

We participate in the following affiliate programmes:

  • Amazon Associates UK — As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon links are marked with our Associates tag.
  • Awin — We work with coffee brands through the Awin affiliate network, including Hasbean, Union Hand-Roasted, and others.
  • Direct brand programmes — Some brands, including Pact Coffee and Rave Coffee, run their own affiliate programmes which we participate in.

Does This Affect Our Reviews?

No. Our editorial decisions are independent of our commercial relationships. We review products we believe are genuinely useful to our readers, and we're honest when something isn't worth buying — even if we have an affiliate relationship with the brand.

Where content is sponsored (i.e. a brand has paid for it to be produced), this is clearly marked with a "Sponsored" badge.

How Are Affiliate Links Identified?

Affiliate links are identified with rel="sponsored" in their HTML, in line with Google's guidelines. Purchase buttons in review pages link to affiliate destinations.

Legal Compliance

This disclosure is made in compliance with the UK's ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines and the CAP Code on affiliate marketing, as well as the FTC's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
